The Toddler Room – “The Rainbows”
In our Toddler Room (The Rainbows), children age from 12 to 24 months. It provides a relaxed, homely environment, tailored for those becoming more mobile and taking their first steps of exploration. Our Rainbows room follows our Pixies room with a much larger area to free flow inside and outside, which consists of a messy room, carpeted playroom and an outside garden canopy area. The children are able to explore the room at their leisure and begin to get used to all of the other areas in the nursery including the main garden, nature garden and sensory room, extra activity room and the upper age groups too. The children in this room experience more art and craft experiences and messy play, and the children can initiate their own choices in play with a large choice of play resources.
ROOM NAME: Toddlers
AGE GROUP* : 1 year – 2 years
*A child will be moved up into this room based on the child’s development and not age.
There is a wide range of age appropriate toys and play equipment in each specialist area.
The Rainbows Room is equipped with sleeping mats/cots to allow for toddler’s sleep patterns from home to be continued. We will work in relationship with you as the parent, to adhere to any routines you have established at home. Staff monitor all sleeping toddlers regularly for well-being and peace of mind.
Each room is led by a Qualified Supervisor and supported by an Excellent Staff Team, working under at least a 1:3 ratio, as set out by OFSTED

Nursery Room
The Wizards is registered for eighteen children a day, who have four consistent team members in it working towards a 1:4 staff to child ratio.
Pre School
Our Pre School Room (Unicorns Room) is led under the guidance of a Qualified Early Years Room Leader, supported by an Excellent Staff Team.
Babies
Our Pixies room is situated nearest the entrance to the nursery and is a very sociable environment that is centered around the nursery and its team.
